Arboretum

The arboretum is located at the place called Rieterfeld, at the northern entrance of the village, between the railway and the Bruche river.

Since 1983, the plot has been regularly replanted with trees, protected by a fence against game animals.

Over the years, this land has transformed into a genuine woodland.

In 2004, the municipality installed a nest where storks come to breed each year.

In 2007, a sequoia was planted at the center of the site, accompanied by a 400-meter walking path designed for visitors.

The arboretum officially came to life in 2013 with the addition of explanatory panels along a marked trail of about 1 kilometer. Access to the park is free.
