Au Clair de l'Insele Picnic Area

The Au Clair de l'Insele picnic area is located at the start of the Mélèzes forest trail in Durmenach, a pleasant 5 km family hike that takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. This developed space includes a semi-open wooden shelter built in 2018, equipped with tables and benches that can accommodate 6 to 8 people. Outside, another table and benches offer the same comfort. A dedicated barbecue area is also available. The spot is especially enjoyable thanks to its shade and the proximity of a small river that winds nearby. Children can play safely here. Direct car access is not possible, but a parking lot is located a few dozen meters from the area.
