Badbrunnen Fountain

According to an old legend, a unicorn once dipped its horn into the waters of the Badbrunnen spring in Saverne to purify it of all impurities.

This mythical tale pays tribute to this fantastic creature, which has embodied the history and symbols of the city for centuries.

Today, a modern fountain, inaugurated by the municipality on Saturday, June 28, continues this tradition. Its new design includes a bas-relief depicting the unicorn, thus recalling this foundational legend while beautifying the site.
