Banholz Forest Shelter in Hirsingue

The Banholz shelter is a log cabin located at the end of Ferrette Street, on the edge of the forest, on the heights of the commune of Hirsingue. It is freely accessible to the public.

Inside, two large tables with benches can accommodate up to 12 people, while a third table under the canopy at the entrance increases the total seating capacity to nearly 40.

A barbecue area is located immediately next to the cabin, but visitors must bring their own firewood.

A second barbecue spot, equipped with two tables and benches seating 8 people each, is available on the other side of the clearing.
