Batorama, Discover Strasbourg by Boat on the Ill
Batorama, Strasbourg's sightseeing boats, offers guided city tours year-round lasting 70 or 45 minutes. This flagship activity in the Grand Est region lets you explore key Strasbourg sites such as the picturesque Petite France district, the Neustadt or Imperial Quarter, and European institutions. The boats are covered and air-conditioned for optimal comfort and can be enjoyed in good weather. Commentary is available in twelve languages (French, German, English, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Arabic, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese) via individual headphones. Children have a special version in four languages (French, German, Italian, and English).
Recently, it has become possible to choose a stop at the European Parliament when booking or up to five minutes before arriving at the dedicated dock. Visitors to the Parliament can also board there for a quick return to the city center in under twenty minutes, starting at €4.50.
Batorama also welcomes organized groups from coach operators, who can drop passengers off at Parc de l’Étoile, less than 100 meters from the dock, before boarding for a full city tour.
Prices are €17.20 (reduced rate €10.70). Tours are available by prior reservation every day at 9:45 AM, except in July, August, and December. Boarding is at the cathedral dock, with return to the starting point one hour and forty-five minutes after departure. Accessibility for people with reduced mobility is available upon prior request.
