BAUMANN Estate - ZIRGEL EARL

Perched on the heights of Mittelwihr, this family vineyard spans 11 hectares of hillside vines, cultivated using organic and biodynamic farming methods. The Zirgel family manages four grand crus and four named vineyards, vinifying, aging, and bottling their own harvests.

The resulting wines, highly expressive, reflect the combination of renowned terroirs, an exceptional microclimate, and passionate expertise. The estate is certified by Ecocert and Demeter, ensuring environmentally respectful practices.

The estate offers guided visits and tastings tailored to individuals and groups by appointment. It also hosts events such as the “Winemaker’s Picnic” on Pentecost Monday and participates in the “Christmas Cellar” event during Advent, both by reservation. Three holiday cottages, rated 3 ears and 4 stars, are also available on site.
