Bibliothèque des Coteaux

Located in the heart of the neighborhood, this friendly and accessible library offers a rich collection of materials. Adults can borrow 12,000 books, including novels, documentaries, comics, and detective stories, while young readers have access to 14,500 youth books. The media library also offers 5,700 CDs for adults and 430 for children, along with a varied selection of newspapers and magazines. Two computer stations provide free Internet access.

Throughout the year, the Bibliothèque des Coteaux organizes free activities for children. On the first Wednesday of each month, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, the Animathèque offers reading and writing activities and games for children aged 6 to 12. On the last Saturday of the month, the "Books and Babies" workshop invites children aged 0 to 4 to discover stories, nursery rhymes, songs, and finger games.

Open to all, the library also welcomes groups upon request, including after-school groups, social centers, and literacy classes.
