Bilstein Castle

This medieval castle is notable for its square keep built in the 12th century.

It is protected by a double enclosure, which was reinforced and modified by the Wurtemberg family in the 14th century.

Access to the keep is through a pointed arch door located high up.

From its ramparts, there is a breathtaking view of the surrounding Vosges ridges.
