Birryhof Fishing Ponds

The three Birryhof ponds, covering areas of 130, 40, and 6 ares respectively, are located between the communes of Vieux-Ferrette and Durmenach.

They are managed by the Waldighoffen Association for Fishing and Aquatic Environment Protection (APP).

Fishing is permitted with two types of permits. Annual permits allow fishing from Easter Monday until January 31, on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. For pike, the season is limited to October through January. Daily permits are valid only on Sundays from July 1 to September 30, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Anglers must obtain their permit at the chalet before starting fishing. Personal fishing equipment is also required to participate.
