Bourtzwiller Bridge (Tram No. 1, Doller Station)

Originally, this bridge was located at the end of Doller Street to allow crossing over the Doller River.

In 1831, it was moved to its current location.

Over the years, it had to be expanded several times to cross new obstacles: the North Station in 1886 and 1900, then the highway in 1979.

More recently, in 2005, it was widened to accommodate the tram line.

Its structure was also rebuilt after significant events, such as the Doller flood in 1895 and the battles of the Colmar Pocket in 1945.
