Brand & Sons Wines

Domaine Brand & Fils is a family-run winery located in Ergersheim, a wine village about twenty kilometers west of Strasbourg.

Since 2001, all 10 hectares of vineyard have been farmed organically. The wines produced hold the AOC (Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée) designation, ensuring rigorous vineyard work and controlled winemaking. All harvesting is done by hand to preserve the integrity of the grapes.

The Brand family cultivates seven Alsatian grape varieties, produces Crémants and late harvest wines, and highlights wines from the Kefferberg hillside terroir. This south-facing clay-limestone soil imparts rich aromas to the grapes and gives the wines a powerful structure and distinctive character.

On site, visitors can join guided tastings to discover food and wine pairings or tour the cellar where large wooden vats are stored. These visits offer insight into vineyard work and winemaking techniques. Throughout the year, the estate hosts various wine tourism events: tasting evenings, introductory tasting workshops, and vineyard walks. Group visits require a fee, but the driver and guide are admitted free of charge.
