Bridge over the Steinbaechlein
At the exit of the Belfort gap, the southern gateway to Alsace, this trail leads to a landscape marked by industrial history.
After crossing the bridge, the path follows the course of the Steinbaechlein, a small stream with clear waters.
On the left, an overflow channel appears, recalling the role of this Vosges source in the region's economic development.
Indeed, the crystal-clear waters of this stream, a tributary of the Doller, contributed to the prosperity of the Mulhouse textile industry, notably with iconic companies like DMC.
