Bruderthal Vineyard

Perched on the Alsace Wine Route, the Molsheim vineyard stretches across a green setting where history and winemaking tradition have intertwined for centuries. Since the 14th century, the Carthusian monks have left their mark on this terroir by giving it its name, Bruderthal, and shaping its wine identity. This locality, sheltered from harsh weather by the Vosges Mountains, extends between 225 and 300 meters in altitude on gentle slopes facing southeast, offering ideal conditions for vine cultivation. The Grand Cru Bruderthal of Molsheim today embodies the pride of local winemakers. Already mentioned among the vineyard holdings of the Strasbourg bishopric as early as 1316, this cru reflects the region's long winemaking history. The vines of the Strasbourg Civil Hospice also thrived here from 1505 until 1963, highlighting the vineyard's historical significance.
