Brumath Archaeological Museum

The museum is located in the vaulted cellars of a former castle built in 1717 by Count Jean-René III of Hanau-Lichtenberg.

Converted into a church in 1804, the building now houses a collection of objects mainly from the Gallo-Roman period. These artifacts, including architectural elements, craftsmen's tools, coins, and local ceramics, provide insight into the culture and lifestyles of the inhabitants of the ancient city of Brocomagus.

The establishment opens on certain dates and also welcomes groups of 10 or more by reservation.
