Bugatti Bronze Statues
In the Jesuit Park in Molsheim, two bronze statues pay tribute to the Bugatti world.
The first depicts Ettore Bugatti (1881-1947), created in 2009 to mark the centenary of his establishment between Molsheim and Dorlisheim.
This visionary engineer made history with his innovative automobiles, combining mechanics and aesthetics.
Between 1909 and 1939, he designed nearly 80 different models and filed over 1,200 patents covering automobiles as well as aeronautics, maritime, and rail transport.
The second statue immortalizes the legendary Bugatti Type 35, a Grand Prix car launched in 1924.
Its design, both simple, elegant, and efficient, contributed to its success.
This park, located on the Alsace Wine Route, is about twenty kilometers from Strasbourg.
