Located 1.2 km from the center of Wasselonne, in a calm and green setting, the campsite offers a flowery and pleasant environment. Close to the start of the wine route, it is accessible by bus from Strasbourg (40 minutes) or by bike via a cycle path. This site is an ideal starting point to discover Alsace and its natural and cultural treasures.
The campsite offers several types of accommodation: 12 chalets equipped with a shower room and separate toilets (including one adapted for people with reduced mobility), 89 pitches for tents and caravans, as well as 12 pitches for motorhomes with a service area. It also has 3 lodges made of solid wood and rigid tent fabric, accommodating up to 5 people. These lodges, equipped with two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a terrace, offer a relaxing view in the heart of nature.
Recently, 11 new accommodations have become available: 7 PONZA tents, combining camping spirit and comfort, with two bedrooms (one with a double bed and another with a double bed over a single bed), an equipped kitchen, and shared sanitary facilities. The 4 GALLY TINY HOUSES, inspired by wooden caravans, offer a bedroom separated by a curtain, a space under a canopy with a bunk bed, and a wooden terrace to enjoy family meals.
The campsite provides indoor and outdoor facilities: a modern sanitary block, a laundry and ironing room, a playground for children, childcare equipment (on request), a sales point for drinks and local products, as well as a bread and croissant delivery service (on order).
Nearby, sports enthusiasts will find a climbing site at Kronthal rock (2 km), mountain bike trails 50 m away, hiking and Nordic walking routes 2 km away, as well as tennis, athletics, and football fields. Wasselonne, rich in its industrial past, offers a “Circuit of Trade Emblems” and an “Industrial Heritage Trail” for a fun discovery of the town. The town center hosts a food and non-food market on Mondays from 8 am to 12 pm, as well as a local producers’ market on Fridays from 4 pm to 8 pm.
