Catharinenburg

This site once hosted a princely residence between 1619 and 1755.

Today, it is the focus of a development project aimed at restoring its past.

Plantings, furniture installations, and scenographies will be completed by 2026 to highlight the exceptional history of this castle and its inhabitants.

The goal is also to reveal a little-known chapter of Northern Alsace's history, particularly related to the "Swedish villages."
