Catholic Church of Bischwiller
Before the parish church of Saint Augustine was built in 1835 and later expanded, the local residents attended the Saint Nicholas chapel for their religious practices. This chapel was located in Hanhoffen, a place now incorporated into the commune of Bischwiller, about one kilometer from the future site of the church.
