Catholic Church of the Holy Innocents

The history of this building dates back to 1230, but today only the two lower Romanesque levels of its bell tower, dating from the 12th century, remain. Indeed, the church was largely destroyed by the Armagnacs in 1444. Shortly after 1439, the nave was vaulted with ribbed vaults, marking an important step in its reconstruction. Immediately adjacent to the church is an Olive Mount, sheltered under a canopy. This sculptural group, made up of polychrome wooden statues, dates from the 17th century and adds an artistic and spiritual dimension to this place steeped in history.
