Celtic Camp
Perched atop the Ziegenberg, this modest yet fascinating site consists of a small cyclopean enclosure. From this promontory, the view embraces the Falkensteinerbach valley, offering a panorama both peaceful and steeped in history.
According to local tradition, an aerial bridge once connected this Celtic camp to a fairy garden located on the Riesberg, on the other side of the valley near the Wasenbourg. The white ladies or fairies were said to use this passage to convey news between these two sacred hills.
In the past, it was said with a hint of mystery: "Climb to the Ziegenburi to confess the Pagans."
