Chalet - Refuge of the Friends of Nature at Schnepfenried

Located at the foot of the Schnepfenried slopes, this refuge accommodates up to 45 people overnight. Open every weekend and during school holidays, it offers 45 beds spread across rooms with 2, 4, 5, and 8 beds. Visitors must bring their own sleeping bags or sheets, but pillows and blankets are provided. Bathrooms with showers and toilets are available on every floor.

Ideal for hikers or groups, the refuge features a large, well-equipped kitchen. Utensils, an oven, a gas stove, and complete tableware for 50 people allow for meal preparation in a friendly atmosphere. A spacious dining room with 80 seats is also available to share a snack or a meal prepared on-site.

For those who prefer, dining is possible 500 meters away at the restaurant Le Panoramic or, by reservation, at a farm inn (contact details available on request). Private parking is available for guests, and holiday vouchers are accepted. However, pets are not allowed.
