Champ du Feu Nordic Area

The Bruche Valley is home to the largest Nordic skiing area in Bas-Rhin, located at Champ du Feu, at an altitude of 1099 meters. This natural site, highly popular with cross-country skiers, offers a quality space for cross-country skiing.

The entire area is regularly groomed and completely free, accessible without restriction. It consists of 15 trails totaling 100 km in length (55 km linear), marked and spread between 885 and 1100 meters in altitude, with 70% above 1000 meters. The trails are set for classic and skating styles, with a varied distribution: 5 green, 4 blue, 5 red, and 2 black trails, as well as a biathlon stadium. To complement the offer, two sledding runs, a marked walking trail, and a snowshoe trail are also freely accessible. Nearby, the Mont Champ du Feu hotel offers a tubing run (inflatable sledding) and a classic sledding run, both equipped with ski lifts and ticketed. Finally, the French Ski School (ESF) is available to assist beginners in learning winter sports.
