Chapel of the Sorrowful Virgin

The chapel dedicated to the Sorrowful Virgin and Saint Quirin is the oldest building in the town. Its choir dates from the mid-15th century, reflecting its long history. The lintel above the entrance door bears the date 1658, marking a restoration carried out after the Thirty Years' War. During the Revolution, it was used as a stable and fodder store before being returned to religious use after the Concordat. Its foundation remains shrouded in mystery and is accompanied by a local legend. Spared during World War II, it temporarily served as the parish church from April to September 1945. Inside, there is a Pietà as well as beautiful stained glass windows installed by the OTT company in 1900.
