Charrière Picnic Area

Perched at the Charrière Pass, above Winkel, this shaded site offers a picnic area equipped with a shelter for cover, as well as several outdoor tables and benches. Fires are permitted except during periods defined by prefectural decree. From this spot, the view extends to neighboring Switzerland, providing a peaceful panorama of the surrounding terrain.

This location is also a popular starting point for hiking. Accessible routes include the Beech Alley walk and the Moroccans' trail, inviting visitors to explore the local landscape diversity. In winter, when snow conditions allow, the site becomes an ideal spot for sledding, adding a playful element to the visit.
