Château de La Petite Pierre - Park Visitor Center
Built in the 13th century, the Château de La Petite Pierre was extensively remodeled by Vauban in 1684 to become a key military fortification controlling a strategic passage between Alsace and Lorraine. Today, it houses the headquarters of the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park, with the Park's Visitor Center located within its walls. Although the castle itself is not open to the public, its outer courtyard is freely accessible. The courtyard features a designated trail and informational panels detailing its history and recent restoration work. Inside the building on the ground floor, a shop showcases items from "Design & Know-How," highlighting local and regional artisans, creators, and artists.
