Church of Saints Simon and Jude
This neoclassical building, constructed between 1828 and 1832, was fully restored after the fire that devastated it in 1987.
In 1836, Stiehr-Mockers installed an organ here, to which Franz Kriess added an independent mechanical console in 1896. The instrument was severely damaged during the fire: all its pipes melted due to the heat.
A clock was installed in the bell tower in 1845.
Two paintings, still visible today in the choir, date from 1856 and 1861.
The side altars were added in 1896.
Between 1956 and 1975, Father Lang Oscar led a major interior renovation in 1963, including the installation of a wooden floor, a black granite altar, a copper plate on the entrance door, and the addition of a Vosges sandstone baptistery.
Since the fire, the church has been closed to the public but remains accessible during services.
