Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary

In 1903, following an initial project launched in 1898, the municipality purchased the buildings and land of a former cigar factory, then abandoned.

A preliminary plan for the construction of a Catholic church was drawn up in 1905, but it was not until July 25, 1911, that the civil authorities issued the building permit for two churches.

The Catholic church was ultimately built on the very site of the former factory and inaugurated on October 20, 1912.
