Claude-Ignace de Callinet Organ

The organ of this church was originally designed by Sébastien Krämer in 1780. Its case, still in place today, is notable for its structure with three turrets and two flat faces.

The instrumental part, classified in 1980, was completely rebuilt in 1844 by the Callinet workshop, of which only a few examples remain in Bas-Rhin. This instrument was then extensively remodeled in 1887 by Martin Rinckenbach. Repairs were carried out in 1909 by Franz Kriess.

In 1917, the front pipes, requisitioned during the First World War, were only replaced in 1946 with zinc pipes installed by Paul Adam.

The organ case was classified as a Historic Monument in 1982.
