Climbing at the School Rock

The Odile Firdion Climbing School Rock offers an ideal playground for climbers of all levels.

Located above the Casner stadium, accessible via the Donon road (D 392) towards Wackenbach, this site features a smooth volcanic rock slab, inclined less than vertical, with a flat base.

There are 14 routes ranging from 10 to 35 meters in height, graded from 3+ to 6b, with holds that are hooking, horizontal, or vertical. Four routes, numbered 6, 7, 8, and 9, are specially adapted for children from age 7. However, climbing is the responsibility of each individual: it is essential to be secured, have the necessary equipment (harness, rope, helmet, etc.), and not to engage without proper training in this sport. Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended.
