Cloister and Church of the Récollets
This Gothic cloister, an architectural masterpiece from the 14th century, is considered one of the most remarkable in Alsace.
It initially served as a convent before becoming a Latin school. In the 17th century, it housed stores and passing troops, then returned to an educational role as a girls' college, before being annexed to the Poincaré College.
Beneath its elegant vaults, murals depict biblical and religious scenes, influenced by the spirit of the Counter-Reformation.
Nearby, the adjoining church and peaceful garden provide a setting conducive to contemplation and rest.
