"Coeur d'Alsace" Campsite
Nestled in the heart of the Alsace countryside, classified as a Natura 2000 zone, the "Coeur d'Alsace" campsite offers a preserved setting ideal for nature lovers. Located on the edge of two fishing ponds and the cycling path along the Sarre Coal Canal (EuroVelo Route 5), it is especially popular with anglers and cyclists. Numerous routes—by bike, on foot, horseback, or by water—start directly from the campsite or the nearby marina, allowing exploration of the region from various perspectives.
For both passing tourists and long-term visitors, the campsite offers a variety of accommodations: shaded pitches, lodge tents equipped for immersive nature vacations, bivouac tents for overnight stays, or caba'huts for a getaway. Whether you are passionate about nature, history, or gastronomy, this place invites you to recharge in an authentic environment.
The campsite provides a motorhome service area and a swimming zone in one of the ponds. A snack bar is open from May 1 to September 15, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the low season, and on Thursdays when a food truck, the Bummeltisch, takes over. Breakfast can be ordered up to the day before. The campsite is "Accueil Vélo" certified, ensuring a cyclist-friendly welcome.
