Collegiate Church of St Blaise
Built in a Gothic style between 1475 and 1488, this collegiate church impresses with its flamboyant portal, a hallmark of late Gothic art. A notable feature is its lordly lodge, directly connected to the apartments of the Counts of Sarrewerden. From this gallery, the lords could attend religious services without mingling with the crowd. Inside, the building houses a remarkable collection of sculptures dating from the 16th to the 18th century, reflecting the artistic evolution of the period. Key highlights include a sandstone pulpit with a polygonal basin, dated 1586, and a Renaissance tomb from 1631. Access to the collegiate church is free during daytime opening hours.
