Colmar and Region Tourist Office
The Colmar and Region Tourist Office, a non-profit association chaired by Eric Loesch and managed by Johny Royer, relies on a team of 25 employees and 12 tour guides. Its main role is to welcome, inform, and advise visitors, while offering services such as excursion bookings. The reception team, made up of 12 travel advisors, is available 7 days a week, 364 days a year. To complement its work, the Office provides a responsive website that comprehensively presents the tourist attractions of Colmar and its region. Despite the rise of digital media, it continues to publish printed materials, distributing on average 650,000 city maps, 75,000 tourist brochures, and 350,000 event documents annually.
In parallel, the Office's mission is to promote the Colmar destination to the general public and professionals. It participates in several tourism fairs and welcomes travel agencies, while organizing stays for journalists and bloggers wishing to produce reports on the city. Each year, more than 150 press professionals benefit from its support. Promotion to the general public is mainly carried out through websites and social networks, notably the Office's Facebook page, which has over 78,000 followers.
The Tourist Office also organizes several major events, such as the Christmas markets with activities like "Children Singing Christmas on the Boats," "Colmar Celebrates Spring," the "Colmar International Festival," and summer folk events. These events attract many tourists each year and help enhance the city's reputation. Finally, it offers professionals and visitors a wide range of products through its receptive travel agency, including guided tours, individual or group, as well as tailor-made stays.
