Commemorative Stele

In the heart of the village stands a commemorative stele honoring the clash of August 14, 1914.

On that day, the 1st Battalion of Foot Chasseurs made local history by capturing no fewer than 500 German soldiers, along with their flags and cannons. This event, etched in collective memory, symbolizes the courage and determination of the fighters on that decisive day.
