Contades Park

This park is named after Marshal de Contades, the military commander of Alsace in 1764.

It occupies the site of the former shooting range used by Strasbourg's guilds, where competitions were held involving delegations from the free imperial cities and Swiss cantons. Today, this shaded green haven invites visitors to stroll in a peaceful atmosphere. Two playgrounds are available for the enjoyment of children.

Located very close to Place de la République, in the heart of the Neustadt district, it offers a natural escape just steps from the city center.
