Set in a peaceful and green environment, this independent cottage with a terrace and garden welcomes you in the heart of the countryside. You will discover farm life and its animals: playful dwarf goats, Nougat the alpaca with fascinating fur, Chewbacca the Scottish Highland with thick fleece, as well as chickens, geese, ducks, and chicks depending on the season. Cats complete this small animal world.

The owners, eager to share their passion, offer you the chance to help care for the animals, ride a tractor, or visit their farm, "Le Jardin d’Auré." You can also taste their untreated vegetables and fruits from their local production.

Located between Saverne, a historic town with heritage treasures like Haut-Barr Castle, Rohans Castle, and France’s second oldest rose garden, and Strasbourg, whose appeal is well known, this cottage is an ideal starting point. Just 7 km south, the Alsace Wine Route gateway leads to vineyards, while within an hour’s drive you can reach iconic southern Alsace sites: Mont Sainte-Odile, Obernai, Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle, Monkey Mountain, the Eagle Aviary, and many more.

At the foot of Alsace’s Little Switzerland, this place is also a gateway to mid-mountain forests perfect for hiking, rising between 150 and 900 meters in altitude. Must-see sites include Wangenbourg, Schneeberg, Nideck waterfall, and many others.
