Dettwiller Municipal Library

The Dettwiller Municipal Library, inaugurated in 1985 and expanded in 2009, currently houses a collection of 9,300 documents.

Among them, 2,700 books are loaned by the Bas-Rhin Departmental Lending Library (BDBR) and renewed four times a year, ensuring a constantly refreshed and diverse selection.

The collections are organized to meet the needs of all audiences. Young readers can find picture books, short stories, fairy tales, manga, comics, novels, documentaries, and magazines. For adults, the library offers novels, large print novels, audiobooks (cassettes or CDs), documentaries, biographies, works about Alsace, and magazines. If a document is unavailable on site, a shuttle system organized by the BDBR allows readers to place orders and pick up their loans.
