Dollerbaechlein

This artificial canal, 23 kilometers long, originates from a water intake on the Doller River, about 1.5 km east of Reiningue. Its course passes through the territories of Lutterbach, Richwiller, Pfastatt, Kingersheim, Wittenheim, and Ruelisheim before joining the Ill River at Ensisheim, where it flows into this river. Its flow is sustained by several small tributaries, including the Leimbach at Lutterbach, the Hagelbach at Richwiller, and the Thurbächlein at Ensisheim.

Historically, this watercourse played an important economic role: several mills were built and operated along it, notably in Wittenheim, north of the feudal mound of this commune.
