Domaine Bernard SCHERB and Sons

Domaine Scherb Bernard and Sons is a family-run vineyard whose origins date back to 1646, cultivated by four successive generations.

Today, the estate covers about 17 hectares of vines spread over 20 kilometers, across four Alsatian communes: Gueberschwihr, Voegtlinshoffen, Rouffach, and Orschwihr.

These varied plots offer a diversity of terroirs suitable for growing all Alsatian grape varieties: Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Muscat, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, and Pinot Noir, as well as producing Crémant d’Alsace, the region’s typical sparkling wines.

The estate also cultivates two prestigious Grand Crus: Vorbourg in Rouffach and Goldert in Gueberschwihr.

Committed to sustainable viticulture, it limits the use of phytosanitary products. Harvesting is done by hand, and the grapes are pressed whole to preserve wine quality.

A member of the Independent Winemakers and Growers, the annual production reaches around 130,000 bottles.
