Domaine Blanck André et Fils

Nestled in the heart of the picturesque village of Kientzheim, Domaine André Blanck spans 15 hectares of exceptional vineyards, over 65% of which are classified as Grands Crus and prestigious Lieux-Dits. For seven generations, the Blanck family has upheld the art of Alsatian winemaking, carefully selecting each noble grape variety and planting it in the fertile soils of the sunny hills at the entrance to the Kaysersberg Valley.

The estate boasts remarkable historical heritage: the former Cour des Chevaliers de Malte, a 16th-century cellar adjacent to the wine museum, itself attached to the former Commandery of the Knights Templar of Saint John of Jerusalem. It is in this historically rich setting that the great wines of Domaine André Blanck & Sons are crafted, using environmentally respectful viticulture. Practices alternate between plowing and grassing to fully express the richness of the soils.

The estate's reputation rests on the excellence of its wines, reflecting the passion and expertise of a dedicated family. This tradition is inspired by the motto of Lord Lazare de Schwendi: "Durat et lucet," meaning "Persistent in effort, brilliant in success." An invitation to discover a unique viticultural and historical heritage in Alsace.
