Domaine Michel FONNÉ

Perched in Bennwihr, on the Alsace wine route, Domaine Michel Fonné embodies a family winemaking history spanning seven generations.

Since 1989, Michel Fonné, an oenologist graduated from Dijon, has taken over from his uncle René Barth and his parents, all professional winemakers. Today, the estate cultivates 13 hectares of vines spread over four communes, highlighting three named vineyards – Rebgarten, Roemerberg, and Vogelgarten – as well as four Grand Crus: Mambourg, Mandelberg, Marckrain, and Schlossberg.

This diversity of terroirs allows the production of a range of wines with varied expressions, from dry and light to fruity, up to opulent and full-bodied.

The estate also offers Crémants d’Alsace, completing a selection that reflects the richness and complexity of Alsatian soils.
