Domaine René Boehler Wines
The Boehler estate, certified organic since 2021, is located in Molsheim, about twenty kilometers from Strasbourg.
The family's winemaking history dates back to 1842, but it was from the 1970s, under the leadership of Paul Boehler, that the estate expanded by acquiring historic plots on the heights of Molsheim. Among these are iconic named sites such as the Grand Cru Bruderthal, once cultivated by Cistercian monks, as well as the Pfann, Hahnenberg, and Seiler plots, once claimed by Jesuits long ago.
Now managed by René Boehler, the estate continues a craft passed down through generations while integrating technological innovations to refine the quality of its wines. Harvesting is done by hand and vinification follows traditional methods, with fermentations carried out by the natural yeasts present on the grapes. Each vintage undergoes daily tastings to preserve aromatic purity. The estate offers wines from seven Alsatian grape varieties, expertly crafted Crémants, as well as late harvest wines.
Tastings in the cellar are available by reservation for groups of up to 12 people.
