Edelweiss Refuge - Ski Club St-Amarin

The Edelweiss refuge welcomes visitors every weekend and on holidays. Perched below the Route des Crêtes, on the slope of the Thur valley, it is located south of the Col du Chien, between Markstein and Hundkopf. A 300-meter forest path from the road leads to this peaceful haven in nature.

On the ground floor, a kitchen equipped with a large wood stove and a cozy dining room centered around an impressive Kachelhoff invite conviviality. In the 1970s, an extension was added to the back of the main building. It houses a large room heated by a monumental fireplace, accommodating about 60 people.

The refuge's kitchen is fully equipped to prepare varied meals, with a wood stove as the centerpiece. Upstairs, three dormitories offer a total of 30 beds, with no private rooms.
