Educational Pond
Around Erstein, nature is reclaiming its rights thanks to the creation of several ponds dedicated to amphibians.
Led by the Nature Ried d’Erstein Association (ANRE) and carried out with the support of the Erstein departmental park, this project aims to restore wetlands essential for frogs, toads, and other aquatic species.
These carefully dug ponds, designed according to a precise plan, now offer welcoming refuges where local wildlife can thrive.
These new natural spaces, accessible to walkers, invite observation of biodiversity while contributing to its preservation.
Additional ponds are already planned to expand these havens of life and enhance the ecological appeal of the region.
