Eiblen Park

The Eiblen is a vast natural area distinguished by its stork enclosure, where injured birds receive care while serving an educational purpose. The site also hosts many domestic animals, and its pond attracts a wide variety of water birds.

This place, a remnant of traditional agriculture in the heart of the Hardt cultural steppe, offers a well-preserved landscape of great interest. It also shelters old varieties of fruit trees, forming a privileged habitat for owls, woodpeckers, and other cavity-dwelling species.

Two educational trails allow visitors to discover the diversity of biotopes present in the park as well as along the Ill River, which borders the site. Picnic areas, playgrounds, and walking paths make it a place suited for leisure and sports activities.

The municipal swimming pool, tennis club, pétanque courts, and ping-pong tables are also located here.
