El sembrador

In 2014, the Chilean artist Inti created a monumental 160 m² mural in Mulhouse.

This work was commissioned by the city as part of the "Le Mur" project, led by the Epistrophe association.

Titled "Sembrador," or "The Sower," it depicts an iconic figure whose clothing is made up of fabrics with distinctive patterns.

These patterns are directly inspired by the collections of the Mulhouse Museum of Printed Textiles, creating a fusion between urban art and local textile heritage.
