Emile Schubetzer Refuge
Perched on the northeast slope of the Thanner Hubel, this refuge offers an exceptional panorama of the Thann valley, the Alsace plain, the Vosges, and the Black Forest.
It welcomes visitors on weekends and during school holidays.
On weekdays, access is only possible by reservation. To stay overnight, guests must bring their own sleeping bag and a disposable pillowcase, which is provided on site. A mattress protector is also required. The refuge is only accessible on foot, after a 15-minute walk from the nearest parking lot.
