Engel Brothers Estate

Founded in 1958, Domaine ENGEL now covers 21 hectares of vines, including 13 hectares on the slopes of Praelatenberg, classified Grand Cru since 1992. Since 2014, the vineyard has been managed organically, allowing the production of wines with a distinctive personality that reflect the richness of this Alsace terroir located in the commune of Orschwiller, former domain of the Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg.

The family tradition continues with the fourth generation, represented by Pierre and Jacques Engel. Keen to preserve ancestral know-how while innovating, these two passionate brothers focus on showcasing the terroirs at the heart of their approach. Their cuvées, now more distinctive and denser, illustrate this pursuit of excellence and authenticity.

The 2022 vintage of Domaine ENGEL received Demeter certification, symbolizing a strong commitment to viticulture respectful of nature and a natural expression of the soils.
