Engwiller
Perched on a hill, Engwiller is a charming Alsatian village of about 500 inhabitants where local traditions remain very much alive. The half-timbered houses, typical of the region, line its streets, while Engwiller's folk music and dance association keeps local customs alive and regularly enlivens the village. The village church, a central building for the community, houses remarkable stained glass windows created in 1959 by Tristan Ruhlmann, a painter and master glassmaker. These works, depicting various biblical psalms, bring colorful light inside the building. The village, full of warmth, comes alive throughout the year thanks to its dynamic associations and annual events such as the Music Festival, concerts, and the Messti.
