Eric Babilon
Originally from Niederbronn-les-Bains, Eric Babilon has always nurtured a dual passion for nature and history. Back in Munster after his professional tours, he escapes to the ridges to observe chamois, patiently photographing them to capture their expressions. His large-format photos, exhibited or shared during guided tours, reveal the beauty of these animals in their natural habitat.
Proud of his Alsatian roots, he knows the region's emblematic sites perfectly, such as the Froeschwiller battlefield or the Maginot Line forts. Descended from a line of soldiers, he also guides visitors to World War I sites like the Linge or Reichackerkopf, with rare historical expertise.
Engaged as a Greeter at the Munster Valley Tourist Office, he puts his knowledge at the service of travelers seeking authenticity. His walks, conducted in a friendly and enriching spirit, are aimed at all those who wish to discover the region from both a natural and historical perspective. Explanations are given in French and German.
